So why do I shoot boudoir?
Well, long story short, because it makes me feel good to make others feel good.
Every woman I capture is a new mystery to me. I have the opportunity to discover who you are, who you aspire to be, what you want to celebrate and how you want to remember your experience. I have the privilege of capturing your beautiful energy and seeing the transformation unfold. Each one of you that have bared your soul has taught me so much. I am forever grateful for the stories and lessons in life you have shared with me.
To see a woman discover qualities within herself worth celebrating and watching her face light up as she sees and appreciates herself in a new way is nothing short of amazing and addictive. Women open the most vulnerable and intimate aspects of their lives to me and trust that I will capture their unique beauty. That is a responsibility I do not take lightly.
A few years ago my talented friend, Jacqueline Willard, took this photo of me that I just love. I’ve now done 2 boudoir sessions myself and I will continue to do more. It is amazing to be photographed in a way that captures your femininity and leaves you feeling empowered. To be able to do the same with you is just surreal.
