So why do I shoot boudoir?
Well, long story short, because it makes me feel good to make others feel good.
Every woman I capture is a new mystery to me. I have the opportunity to discover who you are, who you aspire to be, what you want to celebrate and how you want to remember your experience. I have the privilege of capturing your beautiful energy and seeing the transformation unfold. Each one of you that have bared your soul has taught me so much. I am forever grateful for the stories and lessons in life you have shared with me.
To see a woman discover within themselves qualities worth celebrating and watching her face light up as she sees and appreciates herself on the big screen is nothing short of amazing and addictive. Women open the most vulnerable and intimate aspects of their lives to me and trust that I will capture their unique beauty. That is a responsibility I do not take lightly.
A few years ago my talented friend, Jacqueline Willard, took this photo of me that I just love. I’ve now done 2 boudoir sessions myself and I will continue to do more. It is amazing to be photographed in a way that captures your femininity and leaves you feeling empowered. To be able to do the same for my clients is just surreal.
